Founded upon a simple goal:
Provide the highest quality landscaping & best customer service in Southern California
Mike and Julie LaBahn always knew they wanted to own their own business. As the parents of 5 children, they sought better flexibility and income than traditional corporate jobs provided. Mike had experience in landscaping, so together they decided to create a company to provide the highest quality landscaping and best customer service.
Two years later, Mike and Julie had saved enough money to buy equipment and a spray-painted lime green truck. LaBahn’s Landscaping was born.
In the beginning, it was incredibly difficult for these two young parents. Mike and Julie did everything themselves. Julie was even mowing lawns in the El Cajon summer heat while 8 months pregnant!
After 40+ years, LaBahn’s has grown large enough to fulfill Mike and Julie’s dream of providing for their family and creating an unparalleled experience for their customers. With over 150 employees, the LaBahn’s family has also been able to help provide for others as well. It’s been a long road, but we’re excited for the future as we continue to expand throughout Southern California.

Julie LaBahn has a majority stake in LaBahn’s Landscaping, making it a woman-owned company. LaBahn’s also has women in 4 of 8 leadership positions. One of these positions is held by Jessica Bird, South Branch Manager, who runs the day-to-day operations for our largest branch.
