She has three years of office administration experience and is learning as much as she can about how to run a business. Her ultimate goal is to own her own beauty salon, but first needs to learn more about the best practices of business management.

Melissa is proud of her Mexican heritage. She says she enjoys working in the landscaping industry because it is driven by her culture. She finds it empowering that the hard-working crews allow so many other people to have jobs.
