Associate Degree in Horticulture | Reclaimed Water Site Specialist (RWSS)

Garth is what you call a landscape lifer. He grew up on a 500 acre family farm in Oregon and has been around agriculture and nurseries his whole life. His first landscaping job was at the City of Portland Parks and Rec Deptarment where he worked at the Washington Park International Rose Test Gardens. It was here that he realized he enjoyed working with plants and being in nature, so he decided to go back to school to get his degree in horticulture.

Communication and follow-through are a priority for Garth. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge of plants and horticulture with others. He takes pride in making landscapes look nice and loves seeing new landscape installations grow and thrive.  

Fun Fact: Garth recently embraced a healthy lifestyle. He is dedicated to healthy eating, fitness and taking good care of himself.
